The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced that automatic payments to Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) claimants is set to end on Friday 9 April 2021.

This means from Monday 12 April, fortnightly signing will be re-introduced for Legacy JSA and New Style JSA claimants.

The DWP is currently contacting all customers who made a JSA claim prior to March 2020 and re-engaging them. Claimants will receive a call from 0800 023 2635.

It is important claimants answer when the DWP makes contact and respond to any written contact so that they continue to receive JSA payments.

We're experiencing high levels of request for help at the moment, and as a result there may be a delay in returning calls. We'll get back to you as soon as we can. Callbacks will be from a withheld number.
